At SAF Steel Group, a customer-oriented approach lies at the core of our quality philosophy. We go beyond basic compliance with international standards by prioritizing transparency, traceability, and technical reliability in every material we supply.
In line with this commitment, all forged steel materials are subject not only to routine inspections carried out by the producing mill, but also to third-party inspection performed by an independent certification body. As a result, a second, independent inspection certificate is issued to verify material integrity. Each inspected material is permanently identified by cold stamping, confirming that the required tests have been successfully completed.
Another key element of our quality approach is the depth and clarity of certification we provide. In addition to chemical analysis, our certificates may also include yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation values, enabling our customers to obtain a comprehensive and transparent understanding of the material supplied.
SAF Steel Group strictly refrains from supplying forged steel materials without EN 10228-3 Class 3 or Class 4 ultrasonic testing (UT) guarantee. All materials are delivered with EN 10204 3.1 certification, and upon customer request, EN 10204 3.2 certification can also be provided for production materials.

Customer-Specific Inspection & Verification Capabilities
Beyond standard certification, SAF Steel Group offers customers the ability to perform project-specific inspection and verification processes within our own facilities, in accordance with individual technical requirements.
Within SAF Steel Group’s SAF Çelik Warehouse, customers may carry out:
Incoming raw material inspection and conformity checks
Sample cutting for chemical and mechanical analysis
Requested third-party inspection and surveillance activities
All procedures are conducted in line with customer specifications and project standards. This approach ensures full material verification prior to shipment, particularly for critical and project-based applications.
